Hi, my name is Timmy, and here's my story:
I don't remember too much early on, other than one day when I was about 4 1/2
months old, I was outside all by myself. There were no houses or farms or people
around. I was so hungry and lonely. I walked, and walked, and walked for what
seemed forever. Suddenly, I saw a human way off in a field, walking around. I
ran out of the woods toward him, as fast as I could, meowing at the top of my
lungs. When I caught up to him, I walked around him & rubbed against his legs.
The human kept trying to walk away, but I kept following him. He got to his
truck and looked down at me, and I just cried, "Please don't go and leave me!"
The next thing I know, the human was putting me in the back of his truck. I was
so glad, because it was dark and getting ready to storm. He stopped and bought
me some cat food. I was sooo hungry, I ate two cans! I was in that truck for a
long time, it seemed. Then, he finally took me out and brought me into a house!
I got my own bed, water dish, toys, and more food! There was a crotchedy old cat
there, but she ignored me. I was in a little room with a little window to watch
the birds from. I thought I was in heaven, it was so nice to be inside after
being out in those big woods all by myself. But the humans said I couldn't stay,
they would have to find another home for me. A few days later, another human, a
lady this time, took me to the vet's office. I got to run around in the exam
room while we waited for the vet. The human asked me if I would like to go home
with her...would I! So after the vet gave me a clean bill of health, I once
again went to a new home...this time to stay!
Well, it's been 3 months now and I just love it here! I have 3 brothers and 2
sisters. There are so many toys to play with, and a big, big window with lots of
birds outside. Best of all, at night I sleep on the pillow next to my mommy. I
think I am very lucky!
p.s. Here's a picture taken of me at a cat show....yep, I'm I show cat now, how
about that!
