3800....just a *bit* more camera than my other Fuji. I do love my other Fuji, which does truly awesome macros, handy when I sold jewelry on eBay, but for scenery I needed more optical zoom, so, in a weak moment I got it. But...there IS a learning curve, even when you have everything set on "auto". So, I am learning, and one of the things I am learning is that I will probably end up using this camera for about everything although it is larger than my other Fuji (2650).I can't tell you how long I have been trying to get a picture of those blue eyes, I can NOT believe how much the price of these things has come down even in just the last year. When I got my first digital camera something like this would have been thousands, now it is $299. That is about what I paid for my first digital camera which was truly a piece of junk by today's standards.  |
