We found out yesterday that he has Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, which if you have to have leukemia is a pretty good kind to have. It's very slow developing, and some people can live for years without needing treatment. The doctor thinks that daddy might need to start treatment soon though, because of the swelling in his lymph nodes, and his high white count. He wants to wait a couple of weeks to see if there's any improvement, and then decide whether to start chemo. My mother, sister & I are all relieved that he has a little reprieve before starting chemo, but daddy thinks he should be doing something right now.

He has always been so healthy, and so active it's going to be really hard on him if the treatment really slows him down.
